In 2026, the Energy Efficiency Award will become the dena Energy Award – efficiency and climate action and will continue to serve as a platform for Germany’s best energy transition projects.

The new name reflects the fact that the energy transition is about more than just efficiency—it encompasses innovation, climate protection, and transformation.
With its new name, dena is taking center stage even more as a driving force behind the energy transition.
